The word selvedge comes from the term “Self-Edge” which is the woven strip on both sides of a roll of fabric. It is a clean, heavyweight, premium quality denim that is painstakingly woven on traditional shuttle looms. Because selvedge jeans are crafted with major care you must return the favor and treat them well.
All our five pockets are cut exclusively using the finest selvedge denim, from Italy’s premium Mill Candiani. Then carefully sewn with the natural edge of the fabric tightly bound to ensure longevity. We have deliberately chosen raw denim, as we couldn’t have it any other way. Take the time and enjoy the process of breaking them in. After 6 months they will tell your story, slowly turning into your second skin. Starting with the absolute greatest ingredients is mandatory when on the road for excellency, so for the traditional dark Indigo Jeans, we’ve selected a 13.0oz sanforized, raw, selvedge denim, with a tremendous body and serious crisp for its weight. It feels heavier than its thirteen ounce and we’ve added a nice amount of starch to help you get some real creasing. But it is color that rapidly sets this pair of jeans apart: Its deep dark-blue indigo warp is rich in red shades and on the surface you can subtly appreciate the white weft giving it a fabulous brightness and classic look

Wear them true to size, down-sized, or up-sized depending on your style. Choose true to size for a classic fit and tapered at the ankle. Size down for a modern, slim fit with a low-slung, easy-wear feel through the hips and thighs, or size up for a slouchy, more progressive look.
